The easiest way to report a repair or breakdown is to log an issue using the Repair/Maintenance Log form below – this is the quickest and simplest way to log your issue and helps us address issues in the quickest possible way.
At EJS Estates, we are jointly responsible with you for looking after your home. We rely on you to inform us of any repairs or breakdowns as soon as possible so that work can be arranged. We will make sure all properties are kept in good repair and will address all reported repairs or breakdowns promptly.
Tenant responsibilities
Before you report a repair or breakdown, you should ensure that the repair is not your responsibility. If you report a repair that is actually your responsibility, or you have damaged the property, you may be charged for the cost of the repair.
Repairs priorities
On receipt of a repair or breakdown log we will record and assign a priority to the issue. The priority depends on the nature of the fault and the possible risk to health and safety.
Emergency or urgent repairs are those if not attended to, could cause serious damage to the building or property or cause a health and safety risk such as gas leaks, burst pipes, or total electrical failure.
Routine repairs are repairs which will not interfere with the comfort or convenience of the resident in.
Outside normal working hours repairs are carried out only when the repair will create danger to residents or may cause damage to the property, such as tenant locked out of property, making a property safe or burst pipes.
